NY Knicks: Reacting to 3 proposed trades with Minnesota Timberwolves

Would you consider this trade for Malik Beasley to the NY Knicks?

Ok so…I like Malik Beasley a lot. I think he’s a great player. I’ve hypothesized about a trade for him to the Knicks before.

But I also think he’s an absolute headcase and would destroy the culture being built in New York.

Here’s another thing…every team in the league is aware of Malik’s recent gun charges as well as that he’s become expendable due to Anthony Edwards really coming into his own.

Both factors severely diminish his value on the open market.

The best thing about Beasley is that his contract is incredibly team friendly compared to his production when he’s on the court.

The problem is…he’s never available because of stupid suspensions.

Also, I’m all for trading Mitch if the right deal came along and if he decided he didn’t want to take a team friendly deal of his own.

But Obi has become far less tradable in my eyes as of late.

Prior to the March 25th trade deadline, I was all for moving Obi but the last 2 months of the season including the playoffs, he’s really won my heart over and I’d be sad to see him go.

If the Knicks did this deal it would be a massive overpay and Leon Rose just doesn’t get fleeced like that.
