Two days ago, Josh Hart was in Portland preparing to take on Golden State later that evening at the Moda Center. During warmups, Hart was pulled to the side and exited the court. A few minutes later, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that he had been traded to the Knicks.
On Thursday, Hart flew from Portland to New York City. His former Villanova teammate Jalen Brunson wasn’t in the city to welcome him, though, as the Knicks are in Philadelphia to take on the Sixers Friday night. Luckily, Philly isn’t a far trek from NYC.
With the Knicks taking on their division rival for the second time in a week, fans are wondering if Hart will make his debut on Friday.
Josh Hart’s status tonight vs Sixers
Josh Hart is listed as day-to-day on New York’s injury report. There’s been no word on if he’s going to play in Philadelphia or not, but as soon as there is, it will be updated here.
If he doesn’t play tonight, fans could see him make his debut on Saturday night in the second game of a back-to-back when the Knicks host the Jazz.
