The New York Knicks (21-18) are in Toronto for the first of two times this month to take on the Raptors (16-22). The latest odds favor New York’s Atlantic Division rival.

New York has rebounded from its five-game losing streak by stacking together three consecutive wins. The Knicks will have a chance to push their win streak to four against the Raptors, although in their first meeting of the season a few weeks ago, Toronto snapped New York’s eight-game win streak. Pascal Siakam went off for a career-high 52 points to give the Raptors the 113-106 victory.

Since beating the Knicks, the Raptors have lost four of their last six games. Their most recent loss came on Wednesday in overtime to the Bucks, 104-101. Toronto shot only 19.6% from deep and 32.8% from the field.

New York won’t be able to win if the team plays as it did against San Antonio, but the Knicks are more than capable of picking up a big road win against the Raptors.

New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have New York as +3.5 underdogs. The Raptors are -166 on the moneyline and the Knicks are +140. The over/under is set for 217.5 points.

Knicks Injury Report

RJ Barrett (finger) is out.

New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction

After missing a week with a hip injury, Jalen Brunson has come up big for the Knicks in their past two games. He’s coming off a career-high 38-point performance and it should be noted that in the loss to the Raptors on Dec. 21, Brunson finished with only seven points, the least amount that he’s scored all season. With RJ Barrett’s status in limbo, New York is going to need Brunson to have another high-scoring game.

As mentioned, the Raptors struggle to hit shots. If they come out as cold as they did against the Bucks, the Knicks should be able to jump out to an early lead. New York’s bench has been a low point recently, but Toronto’s bench is even worse. In their past three games, the Raptors bench has scored only 31 points.

Unless another Raptor decides to post a career-high, this game should end in the Knicks’ favor.

New York 116, Toronto 112
