After falling in overtime in the season opener in Memphis, the New York Knicks (3-1) are on a three-game win streak. However, New York’s schedule over the next couple of weeks is incredibly challenging, and it’ll start with the Milwaukee Bucks (3-0) on Friday night. The latest odds aren’t in the Knicks’ favor.

The Bucks are one of the best teams in the league, and they’re off to a hot start. Milwaukee beat the disappointing Sixers in their first game of the season before routing the Rockets in their second game, and on Wednesday night, the Bucks defeated the Nets, 110-99.

Tom Thibodeau will be able to gauge where his team is at this early in the season against an opponent that could very well end up winning the East. New York fought back from being down 19 to force overtime against Memphis, so if the Knicks can stay within reach of the Bucks, this is a game that New York could end up stealing.

Will the Knicks find a way to put the league on notice with a statement win over the Bucks? Or will Milwaukee’s strengths be too much for New York to match?

New York Knicks vs Milwaukee Bucks Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Milwaukee as -6.5 favorites against the spread, with the team -106 to cover. The Bucks are -250 on the moneyline and the Knicks are +205. The over/under is set for 223 points.

Knicks Projected Starting Lineup Tonight

Knicks Injury Report

Quentin Grimes will be out for the fifth consecutive game with a sore left foot.

New York Knicks vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction

The Knicks are coming off three contests against three of the bottom teams in the East, so tonight’s game will be the complete opposite. New York will be tasked with keeping Giannis (who’s averaging a league-best 36 points per game) on lock and guarding the perimeter, which is something that the Knicks aren’t known to do.

This should be a hard-fought game by New York, but Milwaukee’s star power should ultimately be too much for the Knicks to match.

Milwaukee 106, New York 99
