The New York Knicks have their second half of a back-to-back tonight in the Golden 1 Center against the Sacramento Kings. The 26-38 Knicks are in 12th place in the East and the 24-42 Kings are 13th in the West.

New York snapped a seven-game losing streak on Sunday night in Los Angeles with a 116-93 win over the Clippers. RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 24 points (8-of-18) and added nine rebounds. Immanuel Quickly scored 21 (8-of-15 from the floor, 3-of-5 from the 3-point line) off the bench.

Sacramento lost a close one to Dallas on Saturday night, 114-113. De’Aaron Fox scored a game-high 44 points (18-of-31) and the second-highest scorer on the Kings was Domantas Sabonis with 15 points (7-of-10).

On Jan. 31, New York played Sacramento in Manhattan and won, 116-96. Alec Burks had 21 points for the Knicks and Tyrese Haliburton also scored 21 for the Kings.

Will New York be able to win two games in a row for the first time since Jan. 15?

New York Knicks vs. Sacramento Kings prediction

I didn’t believe that the Knicks had it in them to win on Sunday night but I was wrong. New York is at a disadvantage since the Kings didn’t play yesterday but if Barrett can keep it going and Julius Randle can get it going, the Knicks should be able to win their second-consecutive game.

We all know how New York is, though. Nonetheless, my gut-feeling is telling me to go with the Knicks and that’s what I’m going to do. Tom Thibodeau, don’t mess this up.

We’re taking the Knicks -3.5 and under 231 points.

New York 116, Sacramento 112.
