As the New Year creeps upon us, the NY Knicks have a bunch of stuff to focus on in an attempt to do better in 2022, and a bunch that is best if it’s left in 2021.

After a Cinderella season that seemingly came out of nowhere in 2020-2021, we as fans expected this year to be another step in the right direction for our beloved Knickerbockers but instead, we received a huge step back.

Just 33 games into the new season and the Knicks’ record sits at 15 and 18 which is only good for 12th place in the East.

I think I speak for all fans when I say I could have seen them regress a bit but not this much…

That said, we all knew that this team wasn’t going to compete for a title this season regardless, so where ever they end up in the standings technically doesn’t matter.

Here are 3 New Year’s Resolutions for the NY Knicks

There are still 49 games left in the regular season for the team to turn things around, and considering the current climate the NBA is dealing with, with all of these Covid health and safety protocols, the Knicks can certainly right the ship.

Even without making any big trades this season, the team has enough talent on the roster and on the coaching staff to work on and fix what’s been ailing them.

Crazier things have happened in the NBA.

At this point in the season last year, the Knicks were only better by just one game with a record of 16 and 17, so obviously they can make something out of this season if they come together and make it happen as a cohesive unit.

So when looking forward to January 2022, I have a few things in mind that the team should remain focused on in order to potentially make something of this season.

Here are 3 New Year’s resolutions the Knicks should have going into 2022.
