To say that the New York Knicks need this win is a massive understatement, as they’ve only been able to muster up two wins out of their last ten games.

What should be a cupcake matchup against a bottom-dwelling Detroit Pistons squad, the Knicks must capitalize and protect home court.

Detroit is without Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk while the Knicks are missing…Inhale…Derrick Rose, Miles McBride, Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Quentin Grimes, Obi Toppin, and Kevin Knox…exhale.

The team recently brought back Damyean Dotson as well as Matt Mooney on 10-day contract to help fill the void temporarily.

Here are your betting odds for tonight’s New York Knicks game

The word on the street is that Kemba Walker will yet again get the start on the Knicks…another good showing could help increase his trade value for when the front office inevitably trades him before this year’s deadline.

As per WynnBet, the Knicks are a -290 favorite while the Pistons are a +245 underdog.

The Over-Under for the game is set at 206.5 and dropping…as this is being written that line dropped down from 208.

The spread for tonight’s game is currently at Knicks -7 but it had been all the way up at -10.5 just earlier today.

Apparently, the public likes the points in this one.

On the season, the Knicks are 12 and 18 against the spread which is good for 3rd worst record in the league.

Detroit is a middling team thus far with a record of 14 and 15 against the spread.

Regarding overall scoring, Detroit goes ‘over’ 51.7% of the time while the Knicks go Under 53.3% of the time.

That said, I think that even with all the missing players, the Knicks are still a better team than what Detroit has shown so far this year.

The Moneyline is the way to go if you’re trying to make some easy money…but if you want to go big or go home…my bet would be Knicks -7, I would have been reluctant to take them at -10.5 earlier today so I feel much more confident at just 7 points.

And I’m going Over on this one.

The public loves the Under here and so I’m fading the public because the two teams are averaging 205.9 points per game combined on the season and that’s frankly way too close to the 206.5 points we have to consider tonight.

The young Detroit team would probably like to have some fun at The Garden and put up a lot of points, so the Knicks will have to make sure they keep up.
