The NY Knicks‘ offseason is already kicked into high gear.

We just had the 2021 NBA Draft a few days ago and now we’re already entering the early days of free agency.

The Knicks literally just added 4 new names last Thursday and now, we’ve added Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker into the mix as free agents.

Now when it comes to ranking the draftees, obviously, the best players are generally selected earlier in the draft and as the picks roll by, the quality of projected talent decreases.

We won’t know exactly how good any of these players are until we actually see them in action though.

Where would you rank each of the NY Knicks’ 2021 Draft selections?

I’m basically just going based on the eye-test, where some mocks had these players taken, and where they were actually selected.

All in all, I’m super excited about each of these players, because if the new front office has shown anything, it’s their ability to find the right pieces no matter where they’re picking in the draft.

Now that the major moves in free agency have been completed, it’s pretty obvious in hindsight that the Knicks had plans of re-upping some of their departing free agents and improving the roster with veteran talent where ever possible.

So the rookies they drafted this year were likely never going to have much of a role on this year’s team.

The draft-night trades that were made make a whole lot more sense now than they did when they were happening.

That said, I do see a few of these guys having pretty substantial roles on the team in the future.

Here, I’ll discuss that in full detail.
