Should the NY Knicks start Alec Burks at the Small Forward spot next season?

Alec Burks himself got some run at the three last season and had one of his best years as a pro in the NBA.

When it comes to Burks you’ll find a lot of similarities in my thoughts when looking at what I just said about Reggie Bullock.

Burks is also a 30-year-old veteran who has reached his ceiling yet he had a huge impact on the success of the team throughout all of last year.

Like Bullock, Burks was also a 41% 3-point shooter and provided a big boost to the team on the defensive end on a nightly basis.

While again, like Bullock, I would love to sign Burks to remain on the team as a bench player and not necessarily a starter.

Despite this, he’s a player that a lot of contenders were asking for at the trade deadline and he could very well get a lot of money from a team that can afford to pay him a higher price.

Yes, the Knicks have the cap space but overpaying Alec Burks might not be the best use of it.
