How To Watch

Date: Friday, October 27
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Venue: Madison Square Garden
Channel: MSG Network & YES
Stream: MSG GO

When the New York Knicks host the Brooklyn Nets, fans will have an opportunity to watch the game on multiple platforms. Whether you want to stream it or watch one of the two local television channels that will be broadcasting the game, this will be as accessible an outing as any this season.

Whether you want to listen to the Knicks’ resident MSG Network announcers or Ian Eagle’s brilliant work on YES Network, the options will be abundant.

This will be New York’s second home game of 2017-18, and its first outing since blowing a 21-point lead to the Detroit Pistons on October 21. The hope this time around is that, rebuild or not, the Knicks can hold court against the rival from a borough over.

After Brooklyn and New York split the regular season series in 2016-17, Jeff Hornacek’s crew isn’t exactly flush with reasons for optimism.

New York defeated Brooklyn at home on November 9, 2016, but followed that 110-96 victory with a 121-110 home loss to the Nets on March 16, 2017. It also split two games at Barclays Center, thus stalling any momentum for either team.

The question is: Will it be the Knicks or Nets that take advantage of the opportunity to secure the first victory in the 2017-18 Battle of the Boroughs?
