New York Knicks: Who Stepped Up Against The Indiana Pacers?

Carmelo Anthony had a team-high nine points at halftime against the Indiana Pacers. As the New York Knicks’ bitter rivals started to pull away in the third quarter, however, Anthony realized that he needed something more.
Anthony took over in the third and fourth quarters to help restore the faith and excitement of the masses at Madison Square Garden.
Anthony scored 26 of his 35 points in the second half. He posted 16 to bring New York back in the third quarter and 11 to close out the win in the fourth. In the process, ‘Melo converted a season-high seven 3-point field goals and played a brilliant all-around game.
Anthony added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to complete what may have been his best performance of the season.
The Knicks needed this win and Anthony stepped up when he was needed most. It was an incredible team victory, with Anthony not only posting explosive scoring numbers, but playing within the flow of the offense.
