Knicks: Five Reasons Carmelo Anthony Will Win An NBA Title
1. He’s A Winner
Carmelo Anthony isn’t like many of the other all-time great players who never won an NBA championship. He isn’t a selfish player who lacks respect across the NBA or a stat-sheet stuffer who doesn’t know how to win.
Quietly but surely, Anthony is a decorated champion already—whether NBA fans acknowledge it or not.
Anthony led Oak Hill to a 32-1 record during his senior season of high school. He then led Jim Boeheim and the Syracuse Orange to the first and only national championship in the history of the men’s basketball program.
Anthony recently became the first and only men’s basketball player in Olympic history to win three gold medals.
Coupled with his emergence as a leader both within and outside of the basketball world, it’s hard to say Anthony isn’t a winner. He’s proven time and time again that he can win on big stages, which is reason to believe that he can do so in the NBA.
Though it would border on being unprecedented, Anthony still has a chance to win an NBA championship.
