3 Non-Knicks Media Day quotes fans will find amusing

2: Jimmy Butler on his emotional state

Never change, Jimmy. Seriously. Yes, Butler and the Heat eliminated the Knicks from the playoffs, but even New York fans should’ve been able to find amusement in his Media Day look. What made it even funnier was Butler describing why he decided to dress like that.

Last Wednesday, Milwaukee swooped in and traded for Damian Lillard. It was supposed to be Butler and Lillard teaming up, not Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lillard. Butler voiced his opinion of the trade on his Instagram story, saying that the NBA needs to investigate the Bucks for tampering.

Five days later, this is how he arrived at Media Day:

When asked about his new look, Butler said it reflects his emotional state.

Pat Riley is responsible. That’s what happens when the Heat can’t trade for a star to pair alongside Butler. Now Erik Spoelstra’s really going to have to work his magic for Miami to make another run to the NBA Finals.
