1. The Knicks could be in for another deep playoff run

Last season, fans saw the Knicks make the second round for the first time since 2013. Sadly, both playoff runs had similar ends. The Knicks could be in for a potential conference finals run this time, though. Not only did the team improve in free agency, but internal improvements and the development of young talent could push this team far into the playoffs.

The Knicks were just two games away from an ECF appearance, and if not for some bad Julius Randle playoff games, they could have reached that height. However, entering this season, Randle knows what mistakes to avoid, and if he can do so, there’s no telling how far the Knicks will go.

Even if Randle falters again, the Knicks made it pretty far without him, and if things line up right, New York can still push far into the playoffs despite his poor play. Fans already know that Brunson rises to the occasion in the postseason, and with how RJ Barrett performed in the playoffs, the Knicks could make it far off the backs of these two alone.

Regardless of what happens, fans should be excited to see what the Knicks are capable of this season. They have a perfect combination of depth and star power, and depending on how things go, fans could soon see an NBA Finals appearance.
