Answering 5 burning questions about Knicks’ 2023-24 schedule
By James Ryder
When will the Knicks face off against their division foes?
As with every NBA season, the Knicks must compete multiple times against the teams within their division. The Boston Celtics are once again the Knicks’ biggest threat here. As shown in the last slide, New York will see them four times Oct. 25, Nov. 13, Feb. 24, and Apr. 11.
They will play against the other four teams four times each as well. Here are those games:
- December 1, 2023 at Raptors
- December 11, 2023 vs. Raptors
- December 20, 2023 at Nets
- January 5, 2024 at 76ers
- January 20, 2024 vs. Raptors
- January 23, 2024 at Nets
- February 22, 2024 at 76ers
- March 10, 2024 vs. 76ers
- March 12, 2024 vs. 76ers
- March 23, 2024 vs. Nets
- March 27, 2024 at Raptors
- April 12, 2024 vs. Nets
New York will get a very healthy dose of their Atlantic foes during the months of December, January, and March. With the Raptors 50/50 on retooling or rebuilding and the Nets likely battling for a late playoff seed, these are the two teams New York needs to capitalize against.
Then there are the Sixers, who are currently in the middle of a heated controversy with James Harden, who could sit out in every game he is still on their roster. Outside of Boston, this division could be weak enough that New York can take advantage.
