NBA Christmas Day games: full schedule including Knicks versus Bucks
It was already known that the New York Knicks were going to play on Christmas Day this year, but now that the full 2023-24 schedule has been released, the holiday schedule has been nailed down.
Regardless of what non-Knicks fans want to say, Christmas Day at Madison Square Garden is a tradition like no other. This year’s matchup is even more exciting because New York will be facing the best team in the Eastern Conference last season. It’ll be a battle between two of the top five teams from 2022-23.

- Bucks at Knicks at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Warriors at Nuggets at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC
- Celtics at Lakers at 5 p.m. ET on ABC
- Sixers at Heat at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Mavericks at Suns at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
The Knicks’ Christmas Day game will be particularly interesting this year given Giannis Antetokounmpo’s uncertain future.

How many times have the Knicks played on Christmas Day?
The Knicks lead the league with 55 total games played on Christmas Day. The Dec. 25, 2023, matchup against the Bucks will be the 56th time New York has played on the holiday. The Knicks played on Christmas in 2022 and 2021, but before that, New York last played in 2018.
When is the last time the Knicks played the Bucks on Christmas?
New York also hosted Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee on Dec. 25, 2018. Antetokounmpo poured in 30 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bucks to the 109-95 win.
