Full Team USA exhibition schedule ahead of 2023 FIBA World Cup
The New York Knicks are represented by Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on Team USA’s 2023 FIBA World Cup roster. The competition will officially begin at the end of August when the United States takes on New Zealand in the first round of group play, but before Team USA makes it there, the team will play five exhibition games.
This past weekend, Steve Kerr called Brunson a “natural leader” at training camp in Las Vegas. He’s one of four players that have been in the starting lineup at camp, with Cam Johnson and Anthony Edwards each spending time filling the fifth spot.
Team USA’s first exhibition game will be on Monday, August 7, against Puerto Rico, and that contest will provide a glimpse into what Kerr’s rotations could look like at the World Cup.
