6. Milwaukee Bucks

Another possible Eastern Conference opponent that could emerge as a possible fit for a Christmas Day game against the New York Knicks is the Milwaukee Bucks. Even after a disappointing end to this past season, the belief is that the Bucks are going to be one of the favorites to win the East. In fact, you can actually make the argument that they could be the No. 1 favorite to win the conference heading into the start of the season.

They return all of their key pieces and made a couple of offseason additions that will only help their efforts to win a title. The Knicks, as they continue to improve as well, would be an intriguing matchup for Milwaukee on Christmas Day. Both are almost certain to be featured and a measuring stick game between the two could do ratings and offer quite the intrigue.

A possible matchup between the Knicks and Bucks would have the star power, potential stakes attached to it, and would certainly bring eyeballs to the televisions. That’s exactly what you look for when trying to project a possible Christmas Day matchup.

Despite all that, I’m not sure if the Bucks and Knicks have the history with each other that would make it the most entertaining possible matchup for New York.
