1. Javonte Green

There may not be another wing in the NBA more underrated than Javonte Green. He’s no star, but what he is, though, is a great role player. Green is the ideal 3-and-D wing that can play the two, three, or four.

The only downside with Green is that he has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, appearing in just 32 games last year. However, in 2021-22 when he played 62 games, Green was a great piece to the Bulls’ playoff hopes. This past season, Green averaged 7.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 54.2% from the field and 35.6% from deep on 1.6 attempts.

Not only is Green very consistent on offense given his role, but he’s rather versatile defensively. Considering how versatile the Knicks bench already is on both sides of the ball, it’s clear to see why he’d be such a great fit with the team.

Green would likely cost the most of the bunch, but he’d be more than worth it. Not only is he the best here from a pure-player standpoint, but his fit is unmatched when compared to both Green and Jones. Hopefully, the Knicks will consider bringing the 29-year-old in, as he’d be a massive upgrade over Roby.
