The New York Knicks are in search of their first win of the series in Miami on Friday night in Game 6, or else their season will come to an end. A 112-103 Game 5 victory on Wednesday behind Jalen Brunson’s 38 points kept the Knicks alive to see another day.

Playoff Jimmy was no match for Brunson, who was by far the best player on the floor. Brunson would never admit it, but he’s been held back a bit by a sore right ankle in the semifinals. It didn’t seem to be an issue in Game 5, but after playing all 48 minutes and having one full day of rest in between Games 5 and 6, Brunson will be put to the test on Friday.

The Kaseya Center wasn’t kind to New York in Games 3 and 4. It’s time for the Knicks to change that so that there will be a Game 7 back at MSG.
