After three full days off following a Game 2 win, the New York Knicks are in Miami for their first road playoff game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. With the series tied at 1-1, all eyes are on the Heat’s injury report because of Jimmy Butler.

Butler rolled his ankle late in Game 1 and was out for Game 2. Erik Spoelstra said that Miami wouldn’t know his status until today (Saturday), leading to a lot of uncertainty about whether he’ll play or not. He’s been the Heat’s best player in the playoffs, averaging 35.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.

Even though Butler didn’t play in Game 2, Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent were both nearly enough to overpower New York. Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart came up clutch for the Knicks down the stretch, though, to ruin the Heat’s dream of going up 2-0.

Is Jalen Brunson playing vs Heat?

Jalen Brunson (sore right ankle) was listed as questionable ahead of Game 2 but he was upgraded to available. He was limited in practice on Thursday but isn’t on New York’s injury report.
