After losing three games in a row, the New York Knicks will look to snap their losing streak with a win over the Rockets on Monday. The Knicks could once again be without their starting point guard Jalen Brunson.
Brunson, who recently returned after missing several games with a bruised left foot, was listed as questionable ahead of Thursday’s game in Orlando. He was downgraded to out and although the Magic are one of the worst teams in the conference, the Knicks suffered a 111-106 loss.
Houston has the second-worst record in the NBA at 18-57 and has lost five straight. The Rockets will be playing in the second half of a back-to-back after losing 108-91 to the Cavaliers on Sunday. The Knicks are coming off three full days of rest, so they have the advantage. New York can’t afford to drop this game with both Brooklyn and Miami two games back from the No. 5 seed.
Will Jalen Brunson be back in action? Or will the Knicks hold him out to play it safe with the playoffs approaching?
