The New York Knicks have rebounded from a three-game losing streak, winning their last three games to take back the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference.

New York is favored by 8.5-points against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, who have a loaded injury report.

Rudy Gobert, Anthony Edwards, Naz Reid and Austin Rivers are all questionable for this game while Jaylen Nowell is doubtful. Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) remains out.

The Knicks welcomed Jalen Brunson back to the lineup on Saturday, erasing a double-digit second half deficit to upset the Denver Nuggets. Can New York keep the momentum going at Madison Square Garden tonight?

Here’s a look at the latest odds:

Timberwolves vs. Knicks prediction and pick

The Knicks haven’t exactly been the best team to bet on as a home favorite this season, going 10-12-2 against the spread, so I’m actually focusing on the total for my best bet in this one.

New York has gone UNDER 228.5 points in four of its last six games, and these teams played a 120-107 game (Knicks win) in their first meeting this season.

With Edwards potentially missing this game, the Wolves’ offense would take a major step back.

Despite having an efficient offense this season, the Knicks still play at a slow pace (27th in the NBA). Minnesota (fifth in pace) may try to speed them up, but it’s going to be tough if the team is missing several rotation pieces.

The Wolves are also just 24th in the league in offensive rating while both teams are top-15 in the league in defense.

I’ll ride with the UNDER in what should be a Knicks win.
