The New York Knicks are fresh off of an impressive upset win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, moving them to just half a game behind the Miami Heat for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Tom Thibodeau’s group has been great at bouncing back this season, and the Knicks have a great chance to keep up their winning ways against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

Orlando has played much better after a 5-20 start this season, winning 17 of its last 29 games. While Orlando has played better at home this season (13-13), it is taking on one of the best road teams in the NBA in the Knicks.

New York will be without Mitchell Robinson (thumb) in this game, and RJ Barrett is listed as questionable after he was a late scratch on Sunday due to a non-COVID illness.

The Knicks are road favorites, but the odds may point to Barrett sitting, or Vegas undervaluing New York.

Here are the odds and my best bet for this game:

Knicks vs. Magic prediction and pick

I can’t believe the Knicks are at this short of a price against a Magic team that has still struggled on offense this season despite some improved play record wise.

Orlando ranks 25th in the NBA in offensive rating and 21st in defensive rating, and while it has some impressive upset wins, I think the Knicks are the side to back in this game.

New York has been elite on the road, especially as road favorites, going an NBA best 6-2 against the spread this season.

New York won the first meeting between these teams by 13 points, and I just think this line is too short, especially if Barrett is able to suit up.

Even if he isn’t, the Knicks’ bench of Evan Fournier, Deuce McBride and Isaiah Hartenstein showed up in a big way on Sunday night.

The Magic are still in the bottom half of the league record wise, and they are getting too much love at home against an elite road team.

Back the Knicks to win on Tuesday night.
