3. Javon Pickett

It’s always nice to have a guard that plays big. Standing at 6-5 and 215 pounds, Javon Pickett plays like he is 6’10. He is a senior at Saint Louis University and has been productive to start the season. Through three games, he is averaging a double-double with 12 points per game to go with 11 rebounds.

Pickett is shooting the ball over 60% from the field. It’s tough to find a player that is willing to get down and dirty in the paint, especially at his height. 6’5 seems kind of small in the game of basketball these days, but Pickett holds his own night in and night out banging among 6-10 and 7-footers. New York needs this kind of toughness.

4. Luke Frampton

Out in the midwest, you can find a sharpshooter. Standing at 6’5, Luke Frampton is a senior at Western Kentucky University. In three games, he is shooting the three ball at 81%, making him fourth in the nation in that category. Frampton is clearly the best shooter on the team as he shoots around seven threes a game. In every game thus far, he has only missed one three-point attempt. The Knicks need a few players that have only one role: to shoot!
