After suffering their second road loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks (3-2) will travel to Ohio to face the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-1). The latest odds suggest that the Knicks will suffer back-to-back losses.

The Cavaliers are looking for their fifth consecutive win after beating the Bulls, Wizards, Magic, and Celtics. On Friday, Cleveland won in Boston by nine in overtime. Four of their five starters scored in double figures, with Donovan Mitchell (15-for-25 from the field, 5-for-8 from three) and Caris LeVert (12-for-21 from the field, 6-for-8 from three) each scoring 41 points.

The Knicks are looking to bounce back with a win after losing 119-108 to the Bucks on Friday. RJ Barrett led New York with 20 points (7-for-17 from the field, 1-for-7 from three) and Immanuel Quickley led the team off the bench with 14 points (5-for-11 from the field, 2-for-4 from three).

Will the Knicks be able to break the Cavaliers’ win streak to improve their record to 4-2?

Knicks Injury Report

Quentin Grimes will be out for the sixth consecutive game with a sore left foot.

New York Knicks vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction

This will be a difficult game for the Knicks to win because they’re on the road and will go up against the Cavaliers. Cleveland might have a potential dark horse MVP candidate in Donovan Mitchell, who is averaging 31 points through his first five games. The Knicks need to limit Mitchell on the offensive end if they want to have a chance at winning.

The Knicks need to show they can compete with the top teams in the Eastern Conference. New York’s backcourt of Jalen Brunson and RJ Barrett will have to outplay LeVert and Mitchell to win this game. But this is a game that you should expect the Knicks to lose as the Cavaliers are the more talented team in the front and backcourt.
