After demolishing the Indiana Pacers in a 131-114 win on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks will travel to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday for their third preseason contest. The latest odds have New York favored against a fellow Eastern Conference team.
The Pacers are expected to sit towards the bottom of the conference and after drafting Bennedict Mathurin with the sixth pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Indiana’s currently projected to have the fourth pick in the 2023 draft. In Friday’s loss, Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 20 points (6-of-10) and seven assists, while Mathurin scored 19 (7-of-15) off the bench.
This will be New York’s first away preseason game, but the Knicks should pull away with their third win led by Jalen Brunson and RJ Barrett. The game will be another solid test for New York before the final preseason game on Friday against the Washington Wizards.

New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction
This match-up could end up being New York’s most difficult one of the preseason since Indiana just went up against the Knicks five days ago. The Pacers should come out with a bit more fire, but New York’s depth should once again overpower Indiana.
