1. Isaiah Hartenstein

A seven-foot big man is what the Knicks need! It’s always good to have an anchor down low defending the paint. The good thing about Isaiah Hartenstein is that he can be a bit of a stretch 5 at times. He can slide out to the three and is capable of making the shot.

Last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, he shot 47% from three-point range. Coach Ty Lue praised the German center for his instincts and the way he passes the ball, which is impressive for a player his height.

Last season was his breakout year and he will look to continue to produce for New York. There’s no doubt that he will be heavily involved in the rotation. If he shoots the ball well and defends during training camp as well as the preseason, Hartenstein will be well on his way.
