2. Ryan Arcidiacono

In 2022, Ryan Arcidiacono went back and forth as a Knickerbocker. On Jan. 6, he signed a 10-day contract with the Knicks. A week later, the front office waived him. The following week after being waived, New York signed the former NCAA Most Outstanding Player to another 10-day contract. After his second 10-day contract, Arcidiacono went back to play in the G League. In mid-February, the Knicks called on him again and signed him for the rest of the season.

In the 10 games he played in for New York last year, he shot 50% from the field and 44% from three-point range.

Arcidiacono has proved he can play this game since college. After leading the Villanova Wildcats to a title, the university retired his jersey number in 2020. He signed a contract with the Chicago Bulls in 2017 and saw a good amount of playing time in the four years he was there.

In New York, Arcidiacono has the chance to link up with Jalen Brunson again. Hopefully, the chemistry is still there. Arcidiacono will have to display his shooting abilities and be better on the defensive end throughout training camp and the preseason to show Thibodeau.
