2: Obi Toppin

Obi Toppin on the football field would be the definition of entertainment. Knicks fans have seen the way that he flies around the court for the Knicks, whether it’s for a dunk or a rejection.

Like Hunt, Toppin would be tall for a wide receiver at six-foot-nine, but his hops and seven-foot-two wing span would probably result in several touchdowns. And better yet, Obi’s touchdown celebrations would be top-tier.

Would Obi help bring out the version of Danny Dimes that Giants fans are hoping to see? Or better yet, would he be able to form a connection with Joe Flacco? With Zach Wilson’s knee injury keeping him out until at least Week 4, 37-year-old Flacco will be leading the Jets. Flacco’s arm may not be what it once was, but with Obi running down the field (like he does in transition with the Knicks), the Jets would be even more exciting to watch.

We’ve seen what Obi would look like on the baseball diamond, but it’s time for him to complete the trifecta on the football field. Knowing Tom Thibodeau, he’d find a way to limit Toppin’s minutes at MetLife, though…
