Ranking 10 games Knicks fans should be amped up for in 2022-23

3. New York Knicks at Utah Jazz (Nov. 15)

Does the NBA schedule some of these games on purpose? Less than a month into the season New York will travel to Utah where the Knicks will be public enemy number one in Salt Lake City. Will Knicks fans take over Utah or make it out alive? That’s one thing to keep an eye on.

Of course, the other thing goes without being said. With the season now roughly two months away from starting and with Donovan Mitchell still being a member of the Jazz, more tension is surrounding this matchup. At this point, it seems as if Mitchell is virtually a member of the blue and orange and it’s only a matter of time until it’s officially official. And Utah is meanwhile just holding on for dear life to keep its star.

If No. 45 is still playing for Utah when this game rolls around, it’s going to be must-watch television. It’s one reason why the game is on TNT.

If D Mitch is on the Knicks by then, what a way to welcome him home! I’m sure Knicks fans and maybe even Mitchell will be able to relish in the idea of that for a quick welcome back.

Right now, we can really only imagine what the storyline will be heading into this one. The game on Feb. 11 is a bit too far away to pinpoint exactly what will happen. But this game is less than three months away and whatever the case will be, it will be a heck of an environment for a basketball game.
