The NBA released its 2022-23 regular season schedule and there is no shortage of entertaining New York Knicks games. Whether it’s reunions with past players, budding rivalries, or games on national holidays, the Knicks have a fair share of matchups that are bound to get you hyped — even if it’s still only August.

Before long, it will be October and the Knicks will venture off on another winding rollercoaster that is an NBA season. And like most years, the offseason has been full of storylines regarding New York.

Schedule-wise, there aren’t many complaints. For being a marquee franchise with a so-so 2022-23 season outlook by the national media, 13 total games on ABC, ESPN, and TNT seem about right. There is also a trio of games on NBATV.

Knicks fans need to mark these games down on a calendar right now!

Of course, I’ve got to hand out some honorable mentions, because dwindling down 82 games to just the top 10 isn’t easy. Here are some of the games that didn’t make the cut, but are definitely worth checking out:

  • Oct. 26 vs. Charlotte (Early season RJ vs. LaMelo)
  • Nov. 18 at Golden State (Defending champs)
  • Jan. 16 vs. Toronto (Knicks on MLK Day!)
  • Feb. 25 vs. New Orleans (RJ vs. Zion)
  • Feb. 27 vs. Boston (Rivalry)
  • Mar. 1 vs. Brooklyn (Rivalry)
