Carsen Edwards

Another NCAA Division 1 gem, Carsen Edwards sure can shoot the lights out! He excelled at Purdue University for three years from 2016-2019. In his first year, he was the only freshman to make 49 three-pointers to go along with 35 steals.

In his sophomore year, he was named the top shooting guard in the nation and won the Jerry West Award. His junior season was his best one yet! He led the Boilermakers to the NCAA Elite Eight where he was named the Most Outstanding Player of the South Region. During their run, he set the school record, making 10 three-pointers in one game. He also set the single-tournament three-point record with 28 made threes.

The Boston Celtics drafted Edwards with the 33rd pick in the 2019 draft. He played sparingly for the Celtics, shooting his best with the franchise in his second season at 42%. Last season, he led the G-League Salt Lake City Stars in scoring at 27 points per game.

Just like Howard, Edwards is now playing in the EuroLeague for Fenerbahce Beko. Call him up Leon Rose, the Knicks need shooters!
