5 must-watch Knicks games on 2022-23 NBA regular season schedule
1: Dec. 25 – Knicks vs. Sixers
Christmas isn’t the same without a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, and luckily fans will get to watch New York play on Dec. 25 at noon against the Philadelphia Sixers on ESPN. The game will mark the second time of the season that the Knicks will be going up against the Sixers with the first contest taking place on Nov. 4 in Philadelphia.
The Sixers, led by Joel Embiid and James Harden, will be in pursuit of their first title since 1983. Harden’s been praised for the pay cut that he took so that Philadelphia could have more space to sign additional players, so it’d be the perfect present if New York were to spoil the Sixers’ holiday.
Knicks-Sixers will be the first game played on Christmas Day
Many have complained about the Knicks getting a Christmas Day game, but New York’s the league’s most valuable franchise and always draws in viewers. And as mentioned before, with a Donovan Mitchell trade possibly taking place before the 2022-23 season, Knicks-Sixers could end up being quite the start to the NBA’s Christmas Day slate.
Be sure to not miss the best day of the regular season. And if you can make it to MSG to catch the action, there’s the chance that RJ Barrett will give you one of the best gifts of all.
After what has felt like a never-ending offseason, the Knicks will tip off in exactly 63 days. Let’s go!
