The majority of fans have been screaming for Julius Randle to be traded at the top of their lungs since this past season. He went from leading New York to the playoffs to being considered an afterthought.

The four-year extension that he signed last summer is set to kick in at the beginning of the 2022-23 season, but the belief seems to be that he’s played in his final game for the Knicks. The majority of the responses on Twitter included Randle.

Most seem to want Randle out of the way so that Toppin can get more playing time, and then there are those who want Randle gone, period.

Those wishes may come true if the Jazz want Randle. The 27-year-old closed out the regular season by saying that he wanted to stay in New York, and there hasn’t been much said about him during the offseason, but a photo of him working out recently made its rounds on Twitter.

If he’s poised to have a bounce-back season, it might end up taking place in Utah. And instead of remembering Randle’s performance during the Knicks’ run to the playoffs in 2020-21, most fans will instead think about the downfalls of 2021-22.
