3: Cam Reddish

New York traded Kevin Knox and a first-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks in January in exchange for Cam Reddish, Solomon Hill, and a 2025 second-round pick. Reddish played in 15 games for the Knicks before he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury with a month left to play.

During the offseason, his name has been one of the main topics of trade talks. If New York would’ve been able to trade up in the draft for Jaden Ivey, Reddish would’ve most likely been part of the deal.

He’s a 2019 lottery pick whose career didn’t start out the way that the Hawks had hoped. And now with Grimes taking the spotlight, most fans seem to not mind a possible Reddish trade.

The 22-year-old was spotted sitting in between Leon Rose and Scott Perry at the Knicks’ first summer league game against the Warriors.

But that was before Woj reported that the Jazz were willing to listen to Mitchell trade talks, although that should’ve been a given. It’s hard to believe that at the age of 25, Mitchell would choose to ride out his contract in Utah after the Gobert trade.

And if Reddish is going to be traded to the Jazz, hopefully he’ll be able to find his footing there.
