The New York Knicks are heading into the 2022 NBA Draft at a crossroads. On one hand, they can trade away pick No. 11 in a package for a veteran and go back to competing in 2022-23, or they can continue to build on this solid group of young players they have right now.

Whichever one they decide to do, it won’t be an easy decision, and if they do decide to move on from Alec Burks, Nerlens Noel, and Julius Randle in favor of the slow, patient build that fans have been asking for, then the No. 11 overall pick can become one of the most important in franchise history.

Who should the New York Knicks select at No. 11 in the 2022 NBA Draft?

With so many options for the Knicks, it’s going to be a big-time decision for Leon Rose and Co, perhaps their most important since taking over the front office in New York. They’ll need to decide whether they want to move up, who they’d want to trade away if that is the case, and ultimately, which prospect they believe helps this team the most moving forward.

While not all of these players will be available at No. 11, this is a realistic big board of players the Knicks should be targeting with their selection.

We have left Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith Jr., Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivey, and Shaedon Sharpe off this list, as they are the consensus top five in this draft. After that, however, anyone seems to be fair game to be selected at No. 6 or to even fall anywhere down to No. 15 and beyond.
