Knicks vs. Raptors prediction, betting odds, and TV channel for regular-season finale

To close out the 2021-22 season, the New York Knicks are set to face the Toronto Raptors on Sunday evening. The 36-45 Knicks are in 11th place in the East and the 48-33 Raptors are in fifth.

On Friday, New York beat a depleted Washington team, 114-92. Obi Toppin scored a career-high 35 points (14-of-22 from the field, 6-of-9 from the 3-point line). Immanuel Quickley had 23 points off the bench (9-of-18), along with 10 assists and 6 rebounds.

Toronto rallied to beat Houston on Friday, 117-115. Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 29 points (12-of-24), 12 rebounds, and 7 assists. Gary Trent Jr. had 26 points (9-of-21).

Toronto’s locked into the No. 5 seed for the playoffs, one spot behind where the Knicks finished last year. In contrast to New York’s injury report, the Raptors’ injury report only consists of OG Anunoby (thigh), who’s listed as questionable.

According to WynnBET, the Raptors are the 5.5-point favorites over the Knicks. Toronto sits at -210 on the moneyline and New York is +170. The over/under is set at 217 points.

RJ Barrett (knee), Julius Randle (quad), Derrick Rose (ankle), Cam Reddish (shoulder), Nerlens Noel (foot), and Kemba Walker (away from team) are out for the Knicks.

Mitchell Robinson (non-COVID illness), Quentin Grimes (knee), and Miles McBride (knee) are listed as questionable.

Two nights ago, the Wizards were without their key stars against the Knicks. Although the Raptors are in the postseason, they’re still putting forth a competitive roster.

Toronto’s by far the better team, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t be an exciting game. At least New York fans will get to look forward to watching Toppin and Quickley play again. That’s a big deal, considering their inconsistent playing time this year, but there isn’t a reason why the Raptors shouldn’t win.
