Tier 2: The “These Guys Are Going To Be Good For A Long Time” Tier

6. Evan Mobley

Fan Vote Rank: 7th

Data Rank: 5th

Media Rank: 9th

Average Rank: 7th

5. Anthony Edwards

Fan Vote Rank: 5th

Data Rank: 7th

Media Rank: 5th

Average Rank: 5.7

4. LaMelo Ball

Fan Vote Rank: 3rd

Data Rank: 3rd

Media Rank: 4th

Average Rank: 3.3

When you combine all the data on this list, it’s hard to argue that these three guys aren’t in a tier above where Barrett falls, as each one of them ranks above him in at least one category.

All three of these guys are also players who plenty of Knicks fans would probably love to see play alongside Barrett in blue and orange.

There is a whole subset of New York fans who definitely still covet Ball’s point guard acumen, Mobley feels like the second coming of Kevin Garnett, and Anthony Edwards is a dynamic wing and a media darling.

Still, I don’t think there is anyone in this tier that Knicks fans would happily trade Barrett for, but I don’t know that the rest of the league would agree with their assessment.
