Tier 4: The “Still Not Sure What To Make Of Them” Tier

12. Anfernee Simons

Fan Vote Rank:  11th

Data Rank: 11th

Media Rank: 12th

Average Rank: 11.3

11. Cade Cunningham

Fan Vote Rank: 8th

Data Rank: 9th

Media Rank: 11th

Average Rank: 9.3

As mentioned earlier, Simons has been on an absolute heater. He has scored at least 30 points six times since the beginning of 2022.

At the same time, you’re talking about a guy who still isn’t the best player on his team and is a career 10 points-per-game scorer.

He’s one of the feel-good stories of the 2021-2022 season, but I’m taking him last of anyone on this list.

As one of only three number one overall picks on the entire list, you’d hope to see Cunningham rank a bit higher than 11th out of 12 names.

At the same time, it’s still so early in his career and he plays for one of the worst teams in professional basketball.

If you’re looking for signs of hope, Cunningham has an average BPM of 2.2, which is second only to the number one overall name on our list.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a Knicks fan who would trade Barrett for Simons. At this point, Cunningham hasn’t shown enough just yet.
