With the Super Bowl now in the rearview mirror, sports fans have just basketball and hockey to focus on for the next couple of months.

So for all of you New York Knicks fans out there, buckle up because the next 8 weeks look to be a bumpy ride.

After a surprise, upset victory over the Warriors, and 3 full quarters of dominant basketball against Portland, the Knicks came crashing back down to earth.

The Knicks had a 23 point lead late in the 3rd quarter of Saturday’s matchup and somehow found a way to blow that lead and ended up losing by 7 points.

This team just keeps finding ways to steal its fan’s money when we bet on them.

Here are your best bets for tonight’s New York Knicks game

Let’s hope this game is a little more obvious because as of late, they’ve been far too unpredictable.

From a basketball perspective, I’m starting to wonder whether or not Head Coach Tom Thibodeau is on the hot seat this offseason due to all this losing and inconsistency within the team.

As Per WynnBet:

Spread:

Thunder +8 (-110)
Knicks -8 (-110)

Moneyline:

Thunder: +280
Knicks: -360

Total:

207 (Over -110/Under -110)

The one lone bright spot for the Knicks in the last few games has been the resurgence of Julius Randle.

Over the past 5 games, he’s averaging 29.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists so definitely consider taking his Over in PRA’s if your betting site has that available.

Otherwise, 20+ points and 10+ rebounds are damn near a given at this point.

At this point in the season, it’s hard to trust the Knicks with such massive spreads, even if they’re at home and playing against an SGA-less Thunder squad.

Not saying the Knicks can’t pull this one out but winning by 9 or more points just isn’t gonna happen in my opinion.

As we know, players love to come to NYC to play ball and always like to show up as their best selves against the Knicks.

So don’t expect anything different this time around.

The Thunder are surprisingly the second-best team against the spread this season, just a few games behind the league-leading Memphis Grizzlies.

The Knicks on the other hand are in the bottom 10 in the league.

Both squads operate at some of the slower paces in the league, both being in the bottom half of the NBA as far as game speed, so I wouldn’t expect a super high-scoring game.

But the Knicks have also been on a bit of an uptick in pace as of late, so who knows what to expect anymore.

Both the Knicks and Thunder are heavy Under teams this season, both being in the bottom 10 in that department as well.

The safe bet is to take OKC with the points, and logic says to take the under but this Knicks team has been so incredibly unpredictable as of late, it’s hard to bet based on the numbers.

Final Verdict: I’m going with my gut and taking OKC +8 and the Under
