With the trade deadline just a few days away, I wanted to take a look at some point guards the New York Knicks could target that I haven’t seen mentioned much among Knicks fans.

While this season has certainly been disappointing, with the Knicks currently sitting a few games back from a play-in seed, making a move at the deadline could bring back some life to this team.

The biggest need for this squad, in my opinion, and the opinion of many, is a point guard. The Kemba Walker experiment has miserably failed, Derrick Rose isn’t returning until late February at the earliest and Miles McBride remains an afterthought for Tom Thibodeau.

Rumors have swirled that the Knicks have been interested in making a move for a guy like De’Aaron Fox and Jalen Brunson, yet, a trade for a high-caliber point guard is still considered a longshot by many.

Still, there are three guards in particular that, while they may not be the flashiest names on the market, could make a lot of sense for the Knicks to fill the need at point guard.
