2019 Knicks Redraft: Top 3 Picks

1.New Orleans Pelicans-Ja Morant (Previously Taken 2nd)

This was probably the easiest pick to make in a redraft. It will get significantly more difficult and subjective from here on out. Ja Morant is the clear number one, though.

He is third in the class in games played, second in win shares, third in career BPM, and second in career VORP. He is also the only player in the class to rank top three in all four categories. On top of that, he still seems like he has another level to reach. He’s the clear number one.

2. Memphis Grizzlies-Brandon Clarke (Previously Taken 21st)

We have our first surprise. While Brandon Clarke is only 12th in games played, he crushes it in the other categories.  For example, he actually leads the entire class in win shares. He is also second in BPM and third in VORP. He may not be the brand name pick, but data says he might be the smart one.

3. New York Knicks-Zion Williamson (Previously Taken 1st)

In the redraft, the Knicks finally get the guy they had their eye on. The Knicks were tryin’ for Zion, and that wish finally becomes a reality. Despite not playing this season, which weighed into his total score, he still finds himself in the top three because his other numbers are that good. He has the top BPM and VORP in the entire class.
