After witnessing arguably one of the best New York Knicks moments in the past few years on Thursday, the team came crashing down to earth Saturday evening.

We all knew the Celtics would be coming into that game fuming after RJ Barrett called ‘BANK’ at the buzzer, but the Knicks also played like absolute garbage across the board.

Anytime your team only scores 75 points, it’s a huge problem.

Granted, the Knicks were without their own personal Celtics-killer in Evan Fournier, who’s averaging a whopping 35 points per game against the C’s this year.

And to think, here we were assuming that the big win at The Garden was the beginning of the Knicks’ redemption arc for their crummy season.

Here are your best bets  for tonight’s New York Knicks game

We are now entering the tail-end of what was supposed to be the team’s “get right” period, and the team did little to fix their issues.

I’m excited to see what moves the front office makes at next month’s trade deadline, it’ll really shed some light on what they think of the roster the way it’s currently constructed.

As per WynnBet:

Spread:

  • Spurs +6 (-110)
  • Knicks -6 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Spurs: +200
  • Knicks: -250

Total:

  • 212 (Over -110/Under -110)

The last time the Spurs and Knicks played, New York looked great and won the game 121-109 in San Antonio.

If the Knicks ever needed a pick-me-up type of win, it’ll be tonight.

The Spurs just played an afternoon matinee game in Brooklyn and really gave them a run for their money.

San Antonio only lost by 2 points, but will certainly be a bit more tired coming into the game than the Knicks will be with a little extra rest.

The Knicks came out angry after the bad loss they took against the Nuggets the last time these two teams matched up, and this time, the Knicks are coming off an even more embarrassing loss, so look for them to get their redemption.

So far on the season, the Knicks have a record of 18-22 against the spread while the Spurs are actually one of the better teams in the league at covering their spreads with a record of 22-17.

San Antonio is a big ‘Over’ team this season, with a record of 21-16-2 while the Knicks as we know have been a heavy Under team with a record of 17-23.

One thing we know about the Spurs is that they can put up a lot of points, averaging 110.7 points per game on the season.

So for the Knicks to win this one, they’re going to have to keep up with San Antonio.

Final Verdict: The money is heavily on the Spurs to cover this one, but the last time the teams played one another, the Knicks won by a margin of 12 points, and that was on the road.

I think the Knicks cover the spread at home and go over the 212 total points.

Next. Is it finally Dame Time in NYC?. dark
