It feels like every week with this New York Knicks team that there are new storylines, narratives, and problems.

It’s been a nonstop cycle of turmoil and finger-pointing. In the midst of this frustrating season, it’s important to remember that, well, things could be worse.

I know no one wants to hear that right now, but the sooner the Knicks come to terms with the fact that they’re really a young, play-in/lottery team, the more fun this season can be.

New York Knicks: There is young talent brewing on this roster

Having fans clamor for young players can get tiring but in some cases it makes sense.

New York’s roster is a pretty even balance of veterans and young guns. It’s been an ongoing conversation about the bench unit playing at a higher level than the starters and there should be some changes on the way.

That doesn’t mean guys like Evan Fournier and Julius Randle are suddenly not going to play.

Still, this roster has a lot to play with and there are players who are hungry for spots. Fire and desire are going to be rewarded as the season goes on. Let’s look at who we could see more of in 2022.
