Should Dallas consider this trade with the NY Knicks?

Firstly, Leon Rose’s first-ever client was former Knick Rick Brunson, Jalen’s father.

The Brunson’s and Rose still have a tight-knit relationship to this day.

Second, as mentioned, Rick Brunson was a member of the Knicks once upon a time, so following in dad’s footsteps might be an idea Jalen would enjoy.

Third, Rick Brunson had served as an assistant coach with the Bulls and Timberwolves under Thibs, so clearly their relationship runs deep.

And lastly, Brunson is a local, tri-state kid as he was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey so this could be a bit of a homecoming for him.

Dallas is in a bit of a funky spot this year, and in order to keep team star, Luka Doncic happy they’re gonna have to make some moves soon.

The team ranks 28th in defensive rebounds, 26th in blocked shots, and 22nd in opponent’s field goal percentage.

A player like Mitchell Robinson would help all of those issues immediately.
