NY Knicks: This 3-team trade would make NY a Championship Contender
Would you consider this trade for Myles Turner?
I know what you’re gonna say…the Clippers aren’t trading Paul George and I would definitely agree with you there.
It’s just not gonna happen…unless…
I think we could all agree that the Knicks are overpaying a bit in the trade I came up with, and that’s because they’d have to offer a deal of that magnitude to help pry PG13 away from LA.
The Clippers currently sit at 3-4 which is good for 9th place in the West, and that’s even with George running away with the MVP title this year as well as a tremendous supporting cast.
Don’t get me wrong, I know Kawhi is one of the best players we’ve ever seen grace a basketball court, but the Clippers shouldn’t be THIS bad without him.
Perhaps this is a trade they consider in the offseason after stinking up the joint and even with Leonard coming back, Paul George forces his way onto the Knicks.
Now, on the Pacers side, I see a deal being far more likely to happen.
There were rumors that Indiana and New York had talks regarding the availability of Myles Turner.
Apparently, the Knicks were sent away.
With the Pacers having a slow start to their season, even before they embarrassed the Knicks last night, I knew they were a better team than their record indicated.
That said, it’s been pretty evident that the Pacers have been quietly considering moving on from Turner due to ongoing health concerns but more importantly, his fit with team-star Domantas Sabonis has always felt a bit awkward.
But so far, Turner is having himself a career season and any team looking to deal for him is going to have to pay up mightily.
