Now is not time to panic, NY Knicks fans…

This is the NBA after all, the players on every team in the league are here because they’re one of the 510 best players on the planet. therefore literally any team can beat any team on any given night.

Sure, the Knicks are coming off of 2 losses back-to-back against teams that they’re superior to, but like I just said, any team can beat any team on any given night in this league.

They have the Bucks up next as this is being written, and if the Knicks plan on avoiding a 3-game losing skid, they’re gonna have to do so by beating the defending champs.

Would you consider this 3-team trade for the NY Knicks?

It CAN happen.

If the last two games aren’t proof enough that sometimes, it doesn’t matter how good a team is as a collective unit, teams need a Superstar to fall back on when times are tough, then I don’t know what is.

The Knicks are in a very special situation where they can hang with the best of the best while still having all the wiggle room they could ask for as far as young assets and draft capital.

But last season, they were playing with house money.

This year, it’s a whole different ball game and sooner or later, Leon Rose is going to strike. The only question is when.

I believe the Knicks are at least one huge trade away from being considered a top dog in the league, but it may take a couple of trades to really solidify that argument.

This is what brings me to the idea behind this article.

I’ll be the first to admit, one of these two trades is highly unlikely to happen for a multitude of reasons, but it’s my world and y’all are just living in it.

I could see a variation of the trade I made up for the ‘Superstar’ deal I came up with actually happening at some point in the near future, but the player in question is highly unlikely.

That said, I’m still gonna do it and try to make sense of it (lol).

Here are two trades the Knicks could make to turn them into legitimate contenders.
