New York Knicks basketball is back.

After going undefeated in the preseason, New York wants to start the regular season off on a positive note against the Boston Celtics.

New York Knicks: The start of a big season

In an Atlantic Divison where Ben Simmons is getting kicked out of 76ers practice because he feels that “the vibes are off ” and where Kyrie Irving is taking a stand against… his freedom to make a personal decision that endangers others during a pandemic?

No, it’s not an informed medical decision, it’s not trypanophobia. He’s using his freedom of speech to… make a stand… to fight for… his privacy? His right to make a poor decision and support others who do the same while his vaccinated teammates go fight for a championship? The history books will long remember how brave Kyrie Irving was during the global pandemic! Anyways, moving on…

The Knicks are drama-free heading into the opener.

Not only are they drama-free but they are relatively healthy. Nerlens Noel appears to be the only Knick in danger of missing the game.

With Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, and the rookies as the only new players on the team, there should be a lot of the same from last season.

There are still some developments to monitor in the team’s first game. Developments that could be temporary or something to watch as the season progresses.
