New York Knicks: Jericho Sims has flashed
Jericho Sims is a project, developmental prospect who may take a few years to grow into the player Knicks fans hope he can be. He’s already flashed some serious potential.
Jericho Sims — Last 5 Games at Texas:
- 14.0 Point Per Game
- 10.2 Rebounds Per Game
- 2.0 Blocks Per Game
- 1.2 Steals Per Game
- 81% Field Goal Percentage
Sims played all four years of college and has already grown into a phenomenal athlete.
What has caught attention of not just New York Knicks fans but basketall fans from around the NBA has been his leaping ability. Already a viral dunker, Sims’ bunnies were on full display in the Summer League.
His height, long wingspan, sturdy frame, and outstanding leaping ability make for an enticing rim-running center.
Sims had a dominant stretch to close out his college career. Even though he gets pegged as this “long-term” project, he’s already shown some great feel and understanding for being a rim-runner.
He has some fantastic resources to learn from in Taj Gibson, Nerlens Noel, Mitchell Robinson, and of course, coaches Tom Thibodeau and Kenny Payne.
New York is hoping that one day Sims can replicate the numbers he posted in his final five collegiate games in the NBA.
